well, about 5 minutes ago my best freind ben (viper1308 on nopistons) just called me, after being at basic, he is heading off to iraq today, he was scheduled to leave 2 weeks from today but hi unit is getting deployed early....i wasnt worried too much till i talked to him....hes frontline defense for a convoy...apparently thats verry dangerous and the convoys are getting attacked alot..so i lose my best friend for a little over a year...IF he makes it back alive...

**** that sucks. My friend went to boot camp right as the war with Iraq began. Luckily he didn't get shipped off though.

dont feel sorry for him!.... this is what he signed up for.... hes still living...theres nothing to be sorry for!



be proud of him, not nervous, think of the best for him, not that hes gonna die or **** like that



be proud your best friend is going to serve the country .... there are lots of attacks, statistically 1 out of every 2 convoys get attacked....











also a quick question.....is that what he went and signed up for... to go to basic and leave right after to go out to war?

 

he signed up for reserves before this whole war time crap so, i guess he wasnt in basic, but hes on his plane to iraq right now

Freestylefc3s, I-95 is great to speed down. I just LOVE doing it in a 92 Volvo 940Turbo. It is grand. Just go 140 all the way. Yeah! A volvo.
