hehe...so, the wife and I are watching TV last night, and see a commercial for the new Chevy Impala SS, which is supercharged. I say to her, "I bet they do/will use those for law enforcement."



So she calls me today, and says I'm right. The in-laws live across the street from us, where my wife and son were this afternoon. Undercover cops knock on the door, and ask to go in their back yard, because they've been told that the next-door neighbor is growing pot in his backyard. We've seen him grow chili peppers and tomatoes, but not pot. So my wife goes to look, and sure enough, it's there.



This is how dumb these people are. This is a normal-sized 1/4 acre lot, surrounded on 3 sides by other yards. What sucks is the guy is really nice, and is a good neighbor.



Oh, and the cops were driving a new Impala SS. BAM!

 

LOL damn u can make some pretty serious money sellin the Gonch around here.... I"LL CONFINSCATE THAT

Hmm, the PD here uses non SS Impalas. How are you sure that that was a SS?

 

Why someone would grow pot in a semi closed in back yard like that I have no clue, when it gets ready to harvest you can smell it a mile away, at least I can. My buddy lived on a lake and his neighbor did the same thing, we smelled it and shanked it, wtf is he gonna do call the cops LOL

I didn't get to see the car, it was gone when I got home . My wife said it looked brand new, and she said it was an SS. There was a crappy Monte Carlo staking out when I got there.



Apparently, after we left to go computer shopping, they made the bust (as reported by my in-laws). Evidently there were some plants like 6' tall in the back of the yard amidst other plants. They ripped them all up and stuffed them in bags. Mom-in-law said all the neighbors came out to see what was going on. Talk about your serious bad reputation. I'm not sure if they made any arrests, or what they're supposed to do in that situation.
