I saw the whole thing. It was a bidding war for a while, but then unique pulled a surprise move on every one with such a behemoth bid. The man must have some DEEP pockets. But then again for an item as fine as that, the rewards are in the package, so to speak.

 

Oh man, I missed out and never re-bid. Still have my dirt to ship out.

 

i had the high bid before Ed. got the email notice and everything, but i couldn't follow up on it.
