Well.. I have a video card on my laptop.. but no video inputs.. just S-video outs.. and thats it.. I do have a 1394 plug.. and the usb stuff.. and a card slot.. so what can I get to be able to use this damn screen to play PS2... sorta like a tv..? any recomendations?

The usb card thingeys are poop.

 

I don't think there's anything you can do to get PS2 on your laptop, short of downloading a frigging PS2 emulator (if there even is one yet..)

 

I have actually wondered about the same thing....Since we do have the same laptop. I no longer have a PS2 anymore so it doesnt matter anyways.

 

Yeah.. stupid USB card thingies.. i found some that do the video at full 720 res.. but they are like $150..



Oh.. Colin.. I don't wanna use my laptop to play PS2.. I just wanna use the damn monitor, for playin PS2 .. if thatg makes sense.. Hey.. get back to the customers house thread.. and read up..

 

They may do that Res, but it WILL look like i just pooped it out onto your monitor.

To be honest, the external USB jobbies arent the best. Get yourself a PS2 LCD and be done with it. it's gonna cost the same, but look a whole lot better even though it's a smaller screen.

 

Yeah.. but I only really want it for this weekend.. haha
