$ year Old Local built computer. Asus A7 Mother Board, 266mhz bus speed, 1.2 GHZ AMD Atholoan Processor, MAtrix Millenium GS450 Dual monitor card. Running Windows PRo 2000

Problems: Needs to CD Writer, bigger harddrive, need to change to Win XP, Win pro is to restrictive for games and such.

Do I upgrade or just buy a new machine?

Hahaha who edited my post? Speak up. For you wonderful information I was biding my time here printing out previous finals for one of my physics class so when I went to the library I could work them. And it's 24k not 25k.

research online to find out what hardware that mb requires. then look on newegg.com to see what you can get for that mb. it may be cheaper to build a new one than upgrading an old one depending on how old it is.
