which version of windows are you running? sometimes windows 2000 or NT doesn't like new stuff like HD's added to them... I had that happen to me too when I was running a server... I just got so fed up (At that point, I so ******' wish I could throw the computer out the window) I just formated my HD and reinstalled.

NOW, I'M WISER, I use one HD as storage so when I get pissed off and format again, i don't lose everything... abahahah

Yeh, Basically the MS website says I need an XP disk to repair windoze or something. Luckily I don't have one...

hahaha... if you have the CD, it'll do... you can run repair from the cd and it'll repair the windows platform with your new HD in...

its easy to fix. vancouver is right just do the repair and it will fix it. i thought i gave you a xp cd. i guess not! if you need one i'll burn you one

You didn't give me one. It's a damn good thing I can get any version of Windows I want for free! Mmmm....also, free SQL Server Enterprise and VS.NET.
