In the future, we will no longer educate everyone on everything. We will merely show them how to use the internet effectively, along with those other references.

Maybe my college is just that bad, but so many of the people there simply do not know how to find anything on their own. In my critical thinking class last semester, we had a write a paper for the majority of our grade. Over half of the class wanted to be assigned topics by the teacher because its obviously too hard for them to think of a topic on their own. And then people were asking where to find information. How about you start at the SCHOOL LIBRARY!!!!!!!

I hate my school. If my classmates are the future of this country, god help us all, because we will damn sure need it.

Yeah, the only thing I've learned in college is that I'm surrounded by morons. Hell, my roommate has a 3.2 GPA (in a lame *** major, but anyway) and he left me a note to "due" the dishes. For God's sake, he's 21 and doesn't know when to use the word "do"! That's ******* sad.

I guess it's no wonder that people are so surprised when I can figure out things I haven't been taught or even write a good paper without getting my mom to proofread it.

I have a class called EPICS that the instructors tell you is there specifically to weed out the people that cant hack it as engineers. I have also had teachers say that if more than 10% of the class gets an A on an exam, the test was too easy and we will all have to take a different, harder, one.

Mary jane and McCormicks are the only things keeping me sane here.

luckily most of my friends are all college grads majoring in some form of liberal arts. One is an english major, another is history/anthro, etc..

so really i only need to deal with my technical classes, which i have under control. Everything else, i just write something up and have one of them help or proof read.
