Wondering what?
If they rust?
I'd imagine so. . but they're always being handled.
Do I always have a pocket full of rusty coins?
No.
If that's what you were wondering?

Hahahaa!
Shush, you have no Idea how badly everyone made fun of me yesterday!
Sitting out front at the shop, trying to pick up coins with magnet.
Not that it's out of character for me . . but still!
But I guess reverting back to grade 4 science class is kind of fun ever now and then!

You can attract anything with a strong enough magnet. At the High Magnetic Field Laboratory here, they've levitated a frog. The also switched on one of the magnets, and a woman's ring sucked her to it. It takes awhile to power down the magnet, and she got a burn on her hand of the heat build-up.
