It's ridiculous how awesome this video is...just the classic feud between RX-7s and Supras...and probably the most common outcome as well.

ah nothing like streetracing. There was no supra vs rx7 race? it was just a little blurb they said about ti. 140 mph rx7.

140mph RX7? Why does it surprise them that a rotary can do 140? The one time I wanted to see what my car could do, I took it to 155 and I still had room to keep speeding up. It's ludacris to go that fast, so I just resumed the speed limit with a nice grin on my face. Not saying the RX7 is remarkable top end though. A Supra would do a good job on an RX7 top end, pending the work done to both.

 

My point was this: classic race in the sense that the Supra backed down.



And I thought it was a very well-edited little video.



The Corvette film was great...crashing on the drag strip? Oh cmon!

 

I didn't see the walk your talk yet. And the other one you have to pay for. You want us to watch the trailer I presume?

142 in THE QUARTER MILE isn't half bad at all. haha my mistake. That's a damn fast RX7. No wonder the Supra didn't come back...

 

Stupid vid, there was really nothing there.

 

Hahah I was about to correct you with that...



It's as if they said the Rx7 was a 10 second car and you said "Mine can do 0-60 in 10 seconds too wth?!"...come on now...they aren't saying he simply can go 140!



But 2 things to point out:



1. This movie was like a preview, a sort of "teaser"..from when I saw it 2-3 months ago (you guys get yer info so late, hey we caught Saddam by the way..). That's what it was linked as, anyways...so the racing will be in the full DVD. Not the 2-3 min vid...



2. Supra's don't back down from Rx7's all the time (WTH?!). In fact, most supra owners like GOOD competition. Many of the high HP Supra's that are well known look for REAL competiton (No Honda's, cept Bikes )



And I'm spent. That "Bad Gas" excuse *was* kind of lame I'll have to admit. Also, street racing just isn't all that "cool" despite the fact that these were the BIG BOYS, they should take it out on a track, with such power...
