I don't think I've smoked a cigar since Bill Clinton devised a new means of enjoying them. Not that there's anything wrong with that.

I was thinking that too...

In high school, our band was a huge deal so every year there was a trip to Cuba to play Jazz and hang out. Everyone came back loaded with Cohibas, Romeo and Juliets and black coral jewelry. I got a big box of Cohibas for 20 bucks I believe. Now we've all graduated but a few folks still have much younger siblings that go on the trip and bring stuff back for us. We could buy it at a cigar shop, but why do that when you can get them for less than a buck each, easy?

So I've only had the best, but only because I'm lucky haha.

i wouldnt exactly call that "ordering" them for one, that's having a buddy ship them for you and it's still illegal. I was assuming that he was talking about ordering them from a site online, which is prolly a scam.

I bought five cuban cohiba's in France, they were delicious. And as phins said, there is a huge difference between a cuban and Dominican republic. As for other cigars, try something with a cameroon wrapper. They are very chocolatey and sweet. Don Julio is a great cheap cigar, but don't get upset if the construction is subpar, it's a 3 dollar cigar. La Aura Platinum, ruby, and saphire are great but also somewhat expensive. Astral perfecto No 1. is another great little cigar for not much more than five bucks. You'll find that all Astral's have a similar taste in them. They're all very different but they use something that carries a certain taste in each one. Romeo et Juliet platinum are also very good and resonable at about 8 bucks. Macanudo Madora in the bellicoso shape is fantastic, the only Macanudo I've ever tried that wasn't mild and almost tasteless. It's been a while since I've smoked, maybe I'll pop open the humidor tomorrow and have a toke.
