If you think we have it bad in a car, imagine the motorcycle riders. These things are about 4x the size of a Japanese beetle that infest everyones gardens. Imagine cruising along on your bike and hitting something like that at 60 mph...

 

yea you aint kidding. I had a bee fly up my helmet going down RT55 one day, god did that suck.

thats where I do most of my riding. I have a windshield, but they still manage to come in from the side at exactly the right time. and beetles hurt at 60. I think one of these 6" long grasshoppers might just knock me off the damn bike!!
