just a rumor, supposively GM was looking into purchasing them but as expected no one is saying anything.
and its only the american chrysler operation

Like he said, it's only the American part that's for sale.
As for GM purchasing, I doubt that would happen. GM has no reason to add more loss-generating baggage. I don't see anything Chrysler has to offer that GM doesn't have covered in some other area. It's the same as a lot of the other merger rumors going around...not many of them make a lot of sense.

Oh, yeah. They've been batting that one around for a while. I have a feeling if you walked up to Dieter Zetsche with a big wad of bills, you could walk away with Chrysler.
lol, i have a feeling that the money flow is backwards there....

Still, that includes the Jeep brand, and there's no doubt that the Chrysler minivans and the 300 have been selling pretty well. It's not an altogether insignificant ball of wax.

300's lost the appeal they had when it first came out. Te T&C still sells pretty well. Only thing that I saw from Chrysler that was positive was the the whole new redesign of the Sebring, and that was mediocre at best.
And all I have to say about the new Wranglers. Piece of junk! They are selling fairly well though at the local dealers.
