i'm pretty sure if the check is too old you can't cash it.

its almost a year old, but my dad still works there so he can get it figured out.

i work for a credit union and you cant cash a check thats older than 6 months. YOU LOSE!!

Unless, of course, the check has an expiration date printed on it.

in that case its usually 90 days

yeah, but some state and federal checks have a two year shelf life.

and if it is from work you can usualy get the check reissued.

ive seen those only up to a year, not saying that there arent ones for longer. what i pictured from his post is that its a personal check
