Shattered hood, three 4" dents in the roof, $3000 damage.

Yeah, tonight kinda sucked.

Pics tomorrow. I have pins, but I was in such a hurry to go on this date that I didn't notice the hood was unpinned still from last night until it was one second too late. I saw the hood float and layed into the brakes.. As soon as I hit them, the hood came flying up and produced the most sickening crunching noise. I slammed on my brakes and pulled over to check the damage. Windsheidl wasn't broken, at least!

It was a VIS KS Style hood, I'm gonna try the scoot hood next, I think. Maybe paintless dent repair can fix it, but I seriously doubt it.. Which means $600 for the hood and $2400 to have the roof and sunroof fixed, and have the entire front end repainted from the sunroof forward.
