Cc # In E-bay Add
#1
On another local forum, someone posted a link to an e-bay ad, where the guy took a picture of an item with a credit card receipt in the background. So guys on this forum were using this guy's CC# to buy stuff, supposedly. Can't they get caught for that? Honestly, I wouldn't try using it, and I'm too scared that they'd track me down or something.

Who cares if you can get caught, how the **** could you do something like that and sleep at night.
What goes around comes around, I hope they get there's soon.
And no there really isn't **** that will happen to them, ALL of the expense of fraudelent card use lands on the business owner, i've been fucked out of a few bucks in the last few months and there isn't a damn thing I can do but lube up and take it in the ***.
Now, how does this effect you? Simple, i sell my stuff at close to no profit, it does a couple things for me, most notably I get parts for myself cheap, run my volume up selling to you guys, the profit is minimal, however when I get screwed, I gotta make it up somewhere, which ultimately results in a price increase, this is pretty much built in to every price structure from auto parts to grocery's prices are increased because the retailer looses money paying for theft, plain and simple.
That's part of why things cost so much, **** rolls down hill and even though the vendor may be the one with a debit from his bank account he's either got to make it up somewhere or shut his doors....

Now say you see a vacant house in your neighborhood that you drive by each day you knock on the door make sure no one lives there, stick a tag on the door that says "UPS Please leave on doorstep" you track it and pick it up the day it arrives. 2 weeks later the cc company calls the vendor and tells him a fraud charge was made and they are debiting his account the amount plus $25.00 for the reversal, he calls the cops they go out there and say "sorry no one lives there".
End of story. I almost hate to post this info, but I know you guys will gain a bit of usefull knowledge rather then use it to screw someone over.
Now factor the fact that 99% of the time they do not ship to the addy they live at it's hardly worth the effort on the vendor part to try and track the guy down.
