You have to polish the cf after it comes out of the mold. I try to get the mold as smooth as possible so I dont have to sand the final piece before polishing. And I also clearcoat the stuff I mold.

Of course something small like that cant be polished easily.

If your mold was highly polished and waxed enough before you layed anything up in it you wouldnt have to touch it when it came out.

All the boat builders in the world would disagree with you.
Problem with those little parts is you will never get the mold perfect enough to NOT polish them when they come out, its just the nature of the biz if you want to make small parts like that.
