Drop n go - Downshift and punch it.

drop a pair - 2 gear downshift (or 3 if its from 5-2)

Ballin' - must be over 80 (100 on the interstate)

Fire it up - start car

Nail it - floor the accelerator

Bump - shift gear (up/down doesn't matter)

Sit there - to coast, not speed up or slow down

Asphalt Death = series of hard, successive corners

Rev-Drops = Heel Toe Downshifts

Boosting = passing

Whoosh = Turbo PSI

I hardly talk "cars" with anybody, so I usually have to explain how a clutch works before telling them how I accelerated quickly.



I do however always say just a simple "UH..." when a wreck is about to happen (sometimes following by pointing), or something breaks.

nailing it = going fast (eg, I was nailing it around the corner)

give it some **** = do a burnout

give it some herbs, **** = go fast

fang it = go fast

I'm probably the only one of my generation that still uses "to the wood". Foot to the floor in other words, not talking about people's childish fascination with the male anatomy *coughs*
