reading this makes me think that the first mod you should ever do to your car is an alarm system. even more so if you plan to do alot to the car. not only lo-jack but an alarm system so they wont take crape out of the interior.

and im very glad you got your car back. id be in tears if it happened to me (judging from all the work put into your car)

i think the guy must have thought...actually i dont know, but he seems like an idiot...lets go beat him up.

yea the wheel will always lock if the key is removed

thats why im never worried about theft concerning my turbo timer ---- people ask if im worried because someone could just keep driving away with the timer clicking down --- and just keep adding seconds onto it

but then think about where you are parked---the person can only go into a striaght line....but usually i park in a spot --

im ranting too much

Whoa!

I was about to cry, and then I saw the pics.....I actually felt even worse. I remember seing those pics couple of weeks (maybe months) ago. Please take care of you ride, now that you have it back, you do have a dream car IMHO!!

And time for a new improved security system + anti theft devices, the ones you have, obviously don't do ****

Good Luck!

Cant turbo timers be wired in such a way so the car would shut

off if your foot was placed on the brake or something?

Remote starters are like that, the car runs but if you go to

put your foot on the brake to shift gears it shuts the car off.

I know that this is more ideal on a automatic car as they HAVE to

put thier foot on the brake to shift it out of park, but even a crazy thief

has to hit the brakes the first few blocks he drives doesnt he?

ah... but what about the gas.... ??? can't it be wired up somehow with a relay so that when you step on the gas, the timer cuts?

Yeah the turbo timer coudl be a prob, i know i cant turn my alarm on till it ***** the car off. I normaly just wait for the turbo timer to run down thou. And my alarm has a 300 yard distance so i dont worrie too much by the time i reach the building i just set the alarm.

I used to have an alarm that would set itself 1 minute after you shut the car off and open/closed a door. That would work well with a 45 second turbo timer.
