i just put some new jets into mr peepers, and was rewarded with a stable idle!

the iphone app db meter was pegged at 150db....

is that a free app? I'll have to borrow a phone when i get mine running.

150 sounds pretty unrealistic though

It reads high, I was using it for some air conditioner sound testing, and it was about 50% high compared to a real DB meter.

My p-port car at the track was 116 db at the starting line.

drove it for the first time today, either i'm deaf, or its not that loud in the car

Yeah, I'd be a tad skeptical that it's as loud as 150. Crazy that you can use an iphone as a db meter, though.
