Default Re: Bring it back to the forums

On a whim I popped in here. All car forums are dead, it is rare for one to have any activity. Thanks to FB and Insta etc... None of which I am a member of, I deleted all of it many years ago. I honestly do not have time.

Pelican parts has a forum that is pretty active. This is about the only car forum I know of that is alive.

Sad, really the wealth of knowledge posted on these boards is invaluable, furthermore it is fantastic to be able to search a car related topic that is cataloged on the boards and use it.

I am still in touch with 94Touring, I met Dramon Killer at his wedding a few years back, he insisted we do shots together. LOL! I also touch base with Rammstein from time to time, I purchased his E30, see blow.

I sold my FD powered FC about 7 years ago. I had an RX8 R3 for a while and sold that off too. Now I am messing with a R53 Mini and I turned into a BMW fanatic. I have a 1991 318i with a 99 2.8 swapped in, mated to a E46 M3 6speed with a cam / chip / exhaust / intake etc.. It was supposed to be supercharged by the 2 previous owners, I am trying to make that happen this year along with an engine rebuild and new LSD.

I also have a F10 M5 which is mental, it helped me get over selling the RX7 which I did in a whim and regret to this day. I wish I just mothballed it.

I keep looking at RX7's and thinking I want to dive back in, I just do not have time at the moment. I restructured my business so that it runs with minimal staff and is heavy in the latest tech. I wear a lot of hats now, I used to just oversee the place, now I have rolled up my sleeves and work in the field and in the office a lot more. It has been very rewarding, both personally and financially.

I'll try to poke in once in a while. I actually forgot about this place.
