So I finally bit the bullet and bought a playstation 3. Sony just lowered the price $100, they are giving away 5 free blu-ray movies, and circuit city is throwing in an extra controller. I didn't buy any games yet, just a blu-ray movie.



So looks like I got the whole set now! Ps3, wii, xbox 360 with the hddvd player. I love watching high def movies!

 

If I were to break into a house and steal some stuff, not that I would, but if I did, it'd be a house like yours.

you realize that they dropped the price so that they can offer the 80gb version at the normal price, right?



also, j9, wii is teh best, duh!!!!! omg monkey ball! but for reals, i think wii has the best gameplay out of the current gen of systems. they don't have the depth of games yet, but things are on their way, and the games now are a blast to play for people of any age

 

nintendo is the king. fan for 19 years.

 

yeah but who wants to pay an extra $100 bucks for only 20 gig more hard drive space and some game I am never going to play. You can get an xbox elite with 120gb for cheaper.



As for which I like better, I don't play the nintendo wii. It's mostly for the kids. There is no ps3 game that really interests me, I just play xbox. As far as movies, I think blu-ray has a better selection, BUT hddvd has the matrix triology available right now!

 

Grant Turismo 5 maybe the only reason worth biting the bullet for me...

 

Yep GT5 is my sole motivator. Was looking at the trailer and SS's today. ******* sick.

 

Yep, ******* sick indeed. No body damage. STILL!! I want some ******* body damage when I plow 200+mph head on into a wall.

 

I don't think the developers wanted to crash 500 cars to get that realism.
