Bombing Begins, And A Question...

Wow just watched the first little bit of bombing on fox news and their guy in baghdad had a huge bomb explode by him he thought it was a big 1,000lber or something, can't recall, but it looked rather big.
Also WTF is up with the suddenly new pronounciation of Iraq? For the life of me i only remember it as "EYE-RACK" and "EYE-RACK-EE" now all of a sudden it's "EYE-ROCK" and "EYE-ROCK-EE". I find the new pronounciation really annoying for some reason, it just sounds too weird after 18 years of saying "EYE-RACK"

yea i hate these advancements in pronounciations, i know a ton of them but they only really hit me when i hear them.
anyway now some guy is saying they dropped like 6 bunker busters which are 2,000lb bombs, but no one is sure yet...i think rumsfeld is going to be talking about the attack sometime tonight.

I want to know why we are attcking Saddam right now??? Wasn't the point of the whole war to find and neutralize weapons of mass destruction and then go after him after everything else is clear. Are we not being told something or where we once again tricked into war just so Bush could make daddy proud?

no the UN demanded that saddam list all weapons he has, and all weapons he is not allowed to have he must tell them about and then destroy them. He did not but no one believed the US when we said he had more then what he said.
So we went to war, saddam launched 7 scud's that he "didn't have" which luckily were taken care of.
that's why we're at war, also you're thinking of going into the navy yet you question your own government? Not exactly the best combination, no offense i just hate the ones who are like "i fought in the first gulf war, i didnt agree with that, and i dont agree with this, i just wanted money for college".
