How about "We promise to try and not make our engines leak so much oil and fix electrical problems" company?

if i can hop on my soap box for a bit. my friends got a 2003 m5, under 40,000miles. its a lot of things, fast, handles great etc. but its the WORST built car ive ever been in. the paint sucks (its factory, silver, its really blotchy), everything rattles, the ac compressor sounds like its full of rocks, if it was a mazda people would just bring it back as unacceptable. but its a BMW so it must be good, right?

A bmw is like a fine piece of art work, great to look at but never worth owning.

I hear that. Well my wife thought that the BMW X-5 was the hottest thing on the planet... now after having the sunroof leak looked at and repaired for the 3rd time, she is not so sure it was the best way to waste $65K. I wanted an Rx-8 but noooooo, lets get my dreamcar.

I still like their styling but will never own one again.
