I was planning on taking a trip this fall, but so far its not happening. But if your gonna be out that way go here!! http://www.tailofthedragon.com/ 318 turns in 11miles!!!!!! I havent been here yet, but it was gonna be part of my trip. I just depends if the 7 is acting up or not.

I read a lot on that site. It seems there is an "agreenemt" that law enforcement will leave sections of that road alone. The only time they venture onto it is to investigate an accident. It warns to be cool on the straightaways. I feel a side trip in mandatory. Thanks for the link!!

I'd like to check out that "Tail of the Dragon" as well. I've read a little on it and heard a few people talk about it saying that it is pretty fun.



Although a ways off, I would be down for a little excursion on the Parkway. There are all kinds of mountains and trails to hike, as well as restaurants to eat at along the way.
