haha xp64 is ******* poiuntless at this stage, sure windows runs faster, woopdy ******* do. mine runs perfectly fine as it is right now, once they relase some actual usefull features for this i would think about doing it. but as far as running windows programs go... my computer runs solitare fine.

I've been in the industry for about 10 years, and ive been through my share of OSes, and I always come back to win2k. I run xp on one of my machines here and its gay as hell. I hate it.... absolutly hate it.



As why get xp64, when MS just announced that longhorn is coming out next year? *shrug*

 

If you even CONSIDER running XP-64 you should undergo a psychological evaluation.

I miss windows 98... I likes working through dos... you could fix anything way easier than you can now...

 

did none of you see the video of the guy that was working for microsoft going off on how much longhorn sucked, he got fired for it but he still said that it sucks.

 

the last good windows was like 95.

i stand by my words of 2k. It uses NT as its base, which was far better than any of the others. Only ... 2k is better.



And its still has dos fully intergrated, so you can break it down to the easiest levels if need be. I've gone through TONS of OSes in the past 8 years and I've trouble shooted and configured them all, and XP has to be the absolute worst. I hate it with every bone in my body.
