Blew My Motor Last Night

If the water was deep enough to reach your intake, then sure, you're screwed. It's also possible that you just got the ignition system wet and caused a few plugs to quit firing. Dry the thing out thoroghly and try to start it again.

check the air filter to see how wet it is, if it is soaked you may have ingested water into the crankcase, check the oil as well now that it has sat over night, if there was water in the engine, it will now be in your oil pan. look for a chaulky greyish color in the oil. Hopefully it did not hydrolock and all you have to do is dry out the plug wires and get her warm again.

the water was only about 3-4 inches deap and i was going pretty slow the water was not comming up on my car at all i am having AAA pick it up today

my g-mom had a 85 she bought in 86 that had stalled in rain and done something like shaking and she needed a whole rebuild so she bought the 87 i inherited
