When I cracked my rear housing I didn't know it at first. I was still boosting to 18 PSI until I saw the oil pressure drop. Then I pulled over. I don't know why, but nothing else went bad. I ported a used housing, slapped it on, and everything was fine. I think my cars like me. Do you hear that vosko??? J/K

A friend of mine did that about 5 times. He even made a little jig that held the top of the rotor housings tight to keep the water seals intact.
