[quote name='-=DRIFT=-' date='Sep 8 2005, 08:35 AM']I had to come into work before everyone else when i starte being late, but now i just sit around till like 10 mins after just to make up for me coming late. it shouldnt matter what time you go at, if your a couple mins late you should just be able to make it up.

See, that's a great point, and something I try to follow already. I guess it doesn't matter when you leave as long as you're here by 8AM.. even though I worked 8.5 hrs yesterday and Tuesday.

I'm not sure what e-mail program you can use, but you should be able to write an e-mail and set it to be delivered at a certain time. Then you can set it to deliver later than usual, or right at 8 am, so it looks like you were there.

Couple options

I think I have to go with Dramon on this one "**** CORPORATE AMERICA!"

When I leave my company I am not working for anyone but myself.

Its managers like that who **** me off the most. It took me 3 years to finally get it through my bosses head that people should be judged on productivity and not what time they come in in the morning. It was a hella headache trying to get him to go for it but now strolling into work at ten when everyone else was there at 8 feels awesome. ha

I guess the part that really bothers me is that I see these people more than I see anyone else in my life. I've been working with them for the last 5 years.. and over those five years, I spend 37% of my awake time in the office. Yet I can't trust them any further than I can see them, and I can't take anything I'm told without a grain of salt.

It's total BS.. I'm ready to start my own business.
