So did anyone actually buy anything or should we change the name to "still in the red friday". I figure if you do actually need something like clothes they will be near free after xmas.

Guy at work's wife got some turkey at like 30 cents a pound (its 1.99 here) along with other **** over the border. For black friday on this side of the border it was "Buy **** at regular price or go **** yourself day"!

Oh and instead of a revue I asked to get in advance (which would include a raise) we got pizza day at work and got made fun of all day cause the boss said it was because of the "bad economy"...lol.

My friend worked 12 hours till 10:30 thursday, got in the car, drove 2.5 hrs to some mall that opened at midnight, stood in line at the till for an hour and bought a purse. \Drove home and went straight to work again for 4 more hours.

the funny thing most people dont realize is that these day you can get the same "black friday early bird" specials they have in store by just ordering ONLINE and saving yourself the hassle of waiting in line in the cold.

Even if I wasn't stuck in the hospital, I still wouldn't give a **** about black friday. I'd rather pay more and not deal with the crowds, or order online.

I'm surprised just how much emphasis is put on Black Friday rather than Thanksgiving. I give it ten years and Thanksgiving will become the "black Friday holiday." I just can't remember it being so hyped up when I was younger.
