Best Tire Sizes For 18x8.5 And 18x9.5

I have 255's on the front. No rubbing

you should go do that then



im just speaking from experience man..... plus he only has 8.5 inch wheels and you're suggesting 255. given that they work for bobby's car back when it was still using stock high as hell springs he's gunna need insanely stiff suspension setup to keep it away from his fenders. which steve cirianni had his drag car/autox

No worries man, but the FD comes stock with 245's on an 8 inch wide front rim I believe, 255's on an 8.5 one wouldn't be a problem.

actually fd's come with 225's on 8 inch tires from the factory....



and r1 packages came with 235 rear on 8 inch rims.



not sure what the sizing is in japan when the 8.5inch rims came out

Hmm, I thought it was 245 on all 4's. 225's are skinny as hell. My bad!!!

hehe, yup our cars get fishtail happy even in stock form cuz of the underdired wheels. i guess thats one reason why everyone wants to replace their wheels

but whats his ride height? you can get 285's in the front if you raise the car like 2-3" but if its at stock height it almost rubs everywhere
