I'm talking about comfort and support. I don't care about looks very much.
Which brand have you found to be the best? Which shoe? I have flat feet, and wear $350 insoles, but my feet still hurt on a regular basis. I'm talking about a shoe for everyday wear, not for running, or formal occasions. I sucks knowing you're going to have arthritis in your feet before you're 40, gauranteed. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub..._DIR#>/sad.png |
err force ones.... https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...R#>/tongue.png

I'm going to pretend I didn't hear that.
Has anyone tried New Balance? They market themselves as a comfort athletic shoe, but I was wondering how waranted their claims were. |
haha. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/biggrin.png
Whats New Balance? I definitely dont have an answer to your question though as I wear dockers mostly unless I'm working out. I've been looking at getting some of these though. I dont know how cushy they are, but support must be there! https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/smile.png www.piloti.com |
nah, I would tear those up.
We I need also needs to be able to withstand motorcycle usage. I mean, my adidas have done fine so far, just a little uncomfy. |
I've found adidas to be good if you are playing soccer, but uncomfortable for just walking around.
My feet were always comfortable back in the day in Nikes. Maybe try a pair of them? |

The question is, what is right for you? Remember, everyone's feet are different. Just go to the store em on!

Plus I wear a 13, so my choices are somewhat limited. |
I've always liked Nikes. I'll never buy shirts, hockey equipment, golf equipment or anything else from them, but they do know shoes.
I did buy Nike golf shoes, but those are still shoes, and the best ones I've ever tried. Nice looking too. My Nike joggers are losing the sole right now, but they are about 5 years old. I have Otomix weight lifting shoes and those feel great too. They don't really make anything for general use, though. My Adidas rugby spikes were pieces of crap, poorly made, not very durable and painful to wear. The Mizunos I have now are much better. If you wear hiking boots I would look at a a pair of Zamberlans. You can order a pair from here Mountain Equipment Co-op I bought a pair and went on a week long hiking trip in the Rockies without breaking them in and they felt great. Once those ones finally wore out I bought another pair. Awesome comfort and support. Though with your special requirements you may not want to mail order. |
