Just curious if you've shopped around I want to get a wheel tire combo for the mustang but have never ordered them online, always had friends that worked at wheel shop so I've never really shopped.

I've purchased tires at tirerack.com, I've got nothing negative to say about that. I brought them to the local Discount Tire to mount them, and I can still get free rotations and balancing from them if I want, despite the fact that I didn't purchase the tires from them.

Tirerack and discount tire are the cheapest that I could find (tirerack being cheaper than discount), but I bought tires for the Hyundai, I wasn't looking at nicer tires at the time.

I did a google search on my rims when I bought them, found some place that had crackhead prices on the rims.

I called a local guy in the meantime and got the price from him- a $700 difference, I simply asked him "how can another place afford to sell them so cheaply?"........ he asked me where I got a price- I told him- and he MET THE PRICE!

He gave them to me for the same price I would have paid with shipping. Had the fancy mounting and balancing machine, gave me locks and lugs as well. Offered to install them for free too.

so ask around- they will come down on the price, always buy local
