So since ive just broken another nokia(6133 or something). I figure its time to look for something better... T-mobile people all tell me nokia is the best and most reliable and considering ive had almost all ive owned replaced under warranty atleast twice i find something wrong there. So either im to rough or all other phones are absolute ****. I doubt that to be true so what newer models has everyone had good experiences with? I was looking at the unlocked iphones on ebay but with my record on cell phones a 500.00 paper weight wouldnt be to good..

If your talking about reliability and toughness, then I say go with an LG. I have had two, for two years each, and have not had one issue with there phones. I do roof construction pretty often, and my phone refects that in the appearance. I have never had to replace a battery in them either, and I have friends with Motorola and Nokias, and batterys are an issue. The LG is like a Toyota, It might not have all the frills, but it just works! Motorola's are like a Lincoln. Just my $0.02

Overall, nokia's are consistently one of the most reliable makes on the market. You may have a problematic model, but everyone else I know with nokia's(including a few phone *****s) have always had good luck. LG's arent bad, but they arent great either. Most notably, they have had a lot of problems with the chocolate since it came out.. Samsung is every bit as reliable as the nokia's are, and also get better reception than about anything else. Nokia's are very close in reception though.

Personally, I have had nothing but samsung for the last 7 years, and I have had hardly any problems, even with my phones living a hard life.

I have a Samsung now. Them and Nokia are the only brands I'd recommend!

Very true. My phones screen goes in and out randomly, the touch screen barely works anymore.

Motorola are pretty tough phones. When I had nextel those things went through hell.

im really hard on cell phones. ive gone through 5 in the past 2 years.

i had the 1g chocolate and it was the worst **** ever. went through 3, first one went crazy and wouldnt stop calling people on its own (id watch it sitting on a desk, unlock itself and make calls...it was crazy) and eventually it got drunk in a cup of beer. the second one broke at the hinges, and could swivel! it kept working like that for like 3 months before it finally swiveled all the way around and broke the ribbon cable. STAY AWAY!!!

i just got the samsung u740 and like it a lot so far...only had it for 3 weeks so but it just doesent feel like a peice of **** like the choc does
