Sort of a worthless topic but what the hell. I was just wondering how many words for beer in different languages people could come up with. For example:

biru = Japanese

When I was in Munich (I think it was Munich) we stopped at the Haufbrau Haus. Their beer stiens hold a half gallon apiece. Damn. One beer and someone needed to carry you home.
