my folks had an 84 blazer for about 19 years, the fuel rails started clogging up, and they got rid of it. that thing saw alot of wear and tear. it towed the 21 T-bucket we had from California to Maryland, with no problem. that was my first vehicle actually. that thing was very nice.

pick up a ford truck, f-150 with a straight six, and the duel fuel tanks.
I cant afford one right now, but I'm getting a land rover instead
Huh? That is a Land Rover. Land Rover Range Rover.
You gotta be kidding! That thing is an overpriced wagon for yuppie soccer moms.
Just because that's how it's used here in the states, that doesn't diminish it's capabilities one bit, and it's still one of the best off road vehicles in that respect. I have seen stock Range Rovers go where some purpose built Jeeps couldn't dream of going. Rovers, for all their flaws, do have things going for them.
It's actually pretty funny how you guys see them as some kind of exotic vehicle - over here when people think of land-rovers we get images of rusty old defenders.
MMMmmmmhhh, D90. I've alway loved those. I'm not sure how you get images of "rusty old Defenders" since the body is aluminum and can't rust.

Just thought I'd throw this in for fun.
a brand new range rover is 75957 , and land rover is 42 or so
Again, Land Rover is the manufacturer, Range Rover is the model, like Discovery, LR3, Freelander, Defender.
............ but its still not a range rover.

don't matter jio's swayed me from them anyway, he's got me on this S4 thing now
Audi B5 S4? Good choice, I have one.

I never knew that, I was actually in a pretty beat up one not too long ago - we were talking about this and he mentioned he had to get a new door because the old one rusted out - so I guess that's what put the thought in my head.

You're right though, they are complete workhorses and when you're off road there's little that can touch them - I think all the Rangies before the current one had live-axles front and back, and even the new ones simulate this somehow.

It was about six months ago, the fleet guy at the local Toyata dealer, I detail his car every now and again when he wants to spend a shitload, anyway he mentioned sales were weak and Toyota stopped production and sent a boatload of them to be crushed, I dunno maybe I heard him wrong. I could give a **** really, i drove one for a day or two, ******* strange car, can't even hear it to tell if it's running or not. It is safe to say I really hate them! lloll
