Call me crazy, but I'd take the truck before Angie. Cuz see, then I can go absolutely anywhere in the world with that truck to find a girl that looks like Angie, but doesn't have sex with her brother.

[quote name='SilverSeven' date='Jul 17 2005, 03:52 PM']Jeez, I go away for a day or two and everybody gets their panties twisted. Shut up and look at the pretty picture of my S4. There, all better.

Then you should know about how cheap the older Rangies are and how easy it is to slap in a small block Chevy or something similar. You can find a slightly worked '91 for what, $3500? Yank the boat anchor they call a motor, bolt in a 400hp small block and go to town. Same with Defenders, though they're not nearly as cheap to get into, but I have seen bellhousings and motor mounts for five or six different engines that would make a D90 scary cool. I want the Tomb Raider Defender, now that would be ****. I'd almost give up my FD for that (almost).

It's not just the motor, it's all the other **** all over it. The motor is a 4.1 Ford. Nothing special or Bad. Ford has been making that motor for a while. Mostly it electrical ****. Here this kit works for Range/Land Rovers as well.

I've never been into the Range or the Disco much, but I was under te impression that it was a BMW designed engine, and that BMW agreed to continue providing engines for those models for a set time period even after LR went to Ford. If that's not the case then what am I thinking of?

Well, look at that new little ford....isn't that the same as a LR model?? I've been out of it for a quite a few years but there is one small LR that is the same as the ford little SUV... Kinda like a mercury and ford. Same car different badges. That relationship has existed for ford an LR for about 10 years.

Over here Landie made their own engines, of if it was a petrol, then it was the ali Rover v8 with the Buick origins. Seriously tough, but not the most reliable if you get what I mean.

Nope, I remember when the Camaro came out here it was the most hp for the money - the only problem was it was a pile of crap.
