Bad Battery Or Alternator?
#1
last monday i went to start my car and i find the battery was dead....
i checked if i left the parking lights on or left a door slightly ajar...but i'm pretty sure i didn't
so i jump start the car and she purred like a kitten
i leave it on for about 30 min and shut it off
2 days later i find that the car battery is dead again...so i jump start the car and drive it around
for about 45 minutes while i go around town doing errands...
so i was able to shut it off for a few minutes at a time and start it up again....then
i take her home and shut her off....
yesterday...i found that the battery has died again
is the battery bad?
do i have sumthin draining the battery?
alternator bad?
are the US troops really nowhere near bagdhad?

Or you can disconnect the positive side of the battery, if the car stays running the alternator is goo, if it dies it isn't. My guess would be battery. Any of your local parts stores will have a battery tester, the manual tell you how to properly test the alternator, I think it should be something like 14.5 volts at the batter terminals when running.
