you know whats funny, is that after visiting central america, I tell people the same stuff. "Its horrible, dont go there!"

I will eventually get a "winter" home down there and its already bad enough with carnival running there cruises. Americans suck *** most of the time ... dont want them to ruin the most awesome layed back culture ive ever been in.

Sucks about the gogogo part, but I guess if you move down there you'll have plenty of time for the fun stuff. Keep us informed about the move, because I really am coming down after I come back from asia/euro to spend the winter months and I am for sure going to crash at your place for a few days .... maybe eat all your food and take all your redbulls too!

As of now, there aren't any cruises running to puerto viejo, there is one that makes a 1 day stop in Limon so the condo commando's can get off and really "experience" the local life LOL Most of the tourists in PV are european, it's really not accessible enough for americans and of course, it's too dusty and people don't speak english and everything else americans bitch about when traveling abroad.

I quite drinking red bull. I don't know exactly wut are move date will be, i am heading back down in two weeks to look at some more houses, sooooo if we find something then i am guessing somme where around aug/sept. If we decide to build something then it will take 8 to 12 months depending on how big we build.

Funny how quick you can become "anti american" and "unpatriotic" for something. I have said it many times and I will say it again, with the support of most of the world to back me on this. Americans are arrogant, annoying, loud, rude, mean, and for some reason tend to think they are a few levels above everyone else. This is of course a generality and may or may not reflect on you. But the fact is, its true. Ive been told this by hundreds of people I've met in walking the globe and I too have seen first hand how the general American tourist acts. I'm sorry if I (nor scott) wants to be associated with such narrow minded ********. (like I said, this is not an attack on anyone inparticular, just on a generalization)

Well I'll be gone for 6 months to a year, and I leave in may. I've already got all my stuff in order to goto belize in december and I'll be staying around central america for atleast 3 months which would make it ... what, februaryish... so hopefully you'll be down there by then, we can go tease the sloths together

edit:

There is no corona in central america. Like scott said, its usually all local brews. Some are actually pretty darn good.
