This is just a warning to everyone who is considering doing business with RisingSunUsedParts Demonspeed.com. There are at least a dozen people right now who have paid for parts/items from these two companies and have not recieved anything, myself included. I am in for about $764 in parts which I sent as payment two months ago to the day. I guesstimate the total dollar amount of everyone I have spoken to is between $2000-$2500. I have been unable to reach the owner(s) and they have been unresponsive to emails. For more information on this topic read the following posts at:Where is Demonracer?

Feel Free to email me at Mikeokc2001@aol.com for any additional information.

EDIT: Link wouldn't work for me so I fixed it.

Advertising has been pulled, I pulled risingsun immediately when you guys warned me of the issues. I wasn't aware the same situation was occurring with demonspeed. OK kids we don't have a sponsor anymore so we need to start considering bringing someone on board.

Thanks, that will stop others from getting ripped off...Also if any one used PAYPAL they will investigate a transaction up to 30 days, after that you are on your own..I tried to work with Phoenix and waited to long... :frown:

That sucks, PayPal should have a better policy than that, if you transferred to paypal via your credit card I would call the credit card company. If not I would still call PayPal, tell them you were trying to work it out with the vendor during the 30 days.

OK, I will start contacting some vendors, we have a lot of options between the nopistons.com and nopistons.net. We had something like 720,000 pageviews last month.

Anyhow, any ideas, info, help, etc... you could give me on hooking up with a new sponsor would be great.

I did tell PayPal that but they will not go past 30 days....I will get the credit card company to back out the charge though. I hope the FBI address will get something accomplished....
