So I wanted another outboard, something a little smaller for the new dinghy, they had a real nice Nissan 5hp 4 stroke, had an engine cart and the original fuel tank. Carb was really gunked up, looks like the fuel has been sitting in the thing for a while. Well the only difference between the 5 and the 6 is the carb sooo I got the motor for $375, order a new carb for $100 and turned it into a 6hp, so I'm into the motor that looks brand new for $475, new motor is $1300 so I think i did pretty good. Even smells new when you open the cover, very quiet and lightweight. I wanted a 4 stroker so I don't have to carry separate gas, no premixing!
