im old and I still do that, I think people invite me places just to watch me make fun of people.
I do it constantly, its bad
I could be driving along talking and Ill see some re-re with some stupid hat and Ill just blare out "hey nice hat", then keep talking like nothing happened.
I feel bad sometimes, then I get over it and figure people are doing it to me anyhow.

Ah, I got you beat - I've weighed 210-220 lbs since my freshman year. As a freshman, I was 5'2". Now, I'm 6'1". Still a little overweight, but there's quite a bit of muscle underneath it all. I curl S10 pickup truck beds for fun.

I was a small guy. I was never popular but was friends with the in-crowd...just never hung out with them. I kept to myself except for close friends but somehow always had either a cheerleader or drill team member as a date to the dances. Even the chicks I dated from other schools where on the drill team. Pays off when they can bend and twist and get all freaky
