Don't let me meat you at any rotary event when I get back from Afghanistan..Not really smart to spout off with anything like that here..There are many of us here that have been and are going away who are risking death for ********* like you..If you don't agree with the President fine..but you hate the one thing that gives you all the freedom you enjoy...*******

 

I run into morons like you sometimes. It's not very often, though. I guess because most people in this country appreciate the freedoms and liberties they have. I am a recruiter for the Army National Guard. And whoever said we have to have 1 a month is close. I have to have 3 enlistments a month. But I don't push myself or the military on ANYONE. This is simply because I don't want scumbags like this fighting by my side, not that they would, though.



If you don't like the military and it's purpose, then please move to a country that you don't have to worry about it. I'm sure you'll quickly realize why we've had a strong military for so long. But hopefully, you'll stay there anyway.....

 

Funny thing is i was thinking about the military earlier in the day, I just didnt feel like talking to a recruiter while walking back to my house..

 

Oh to answer your question sep. Yes the military Needs people. After all the cuts Clinton made there isn't enough full time (active duty) men. Thats why so many Nat. Guard, Res. and IRR troops and units are being deployed for so long, and so often.

 

i also heard that there was a goat pulling a wagon full of people with swords.





you may be free now buddy, but just you wait till the swedes come barging into your country, they have 10 guys with axes, and a catapult.

 

If you don't like the war blame the people who put Bush in power. The armed services are doing their job. I don't like the war, but I support our troops 100% because they are doing what they are told by the majority of this population.

this is how its been for me, its too late to change who;s in office now, so put up with it and shut up about it, its not like you can do anything till the next election rolls around, so whining about it now is pointless.

 

whats funny is that he said that bush keeps changing the reason for being there. bush has never changed his reason for starting the war or staying in the war. Its was stated clearly when he announced it to the world and it still stands.



Bush said that we went to the middle east to root out all terrorist organizations and the groups that support them. He never said that we were going over JUST to get Osama, or JUST to get Saddam, he said we were going to get ALL terrorist organizations. Its the media that keep distorting that. His statement was clear and precise, I still don't see how it got so distorted, but it has.



the establishment of a new government in Iraq was essential to the operation. If the old government would have stayed in power, the fight would have NEVER ended.



and Iraqis don't hate us. The majority of the iraqi people love us. the only reason that it appears that they hate us is because that is all the media shows. Media is not to be relied on. They show what sells and nothing else.
