apple iPhone...
One of the biggest PITA things about the iPhone ive read is non-customer changeable battery. I don't know why Apple decided to solder the battery to the phone rather than make a swappable battery for it. Its stupid. It makes changing the battery a huge pain because you have to send the phone back.

Seems some people are overly sensitive that they overpaid to be "hip". Bet you'll feel foolish when this fad goes over like a led ballon and they are being offered for 49.95.
You mean like the iPod? No.. unfortunately, I think this is less of a fad and more of a new category of mobile computing... Yes.. THIS iPhone will be sold eventually for 49.95, but the NEW 80GB model (speculation) will be the rage next...
Its the way of technology. Fads don't really go away, they just become depricated by the next new and exciting fad.
If the iPhone lasts nearly as long as my cell phone has, I'll be wanting the new version when it comes out in 2 years.

i use my phone to.... talk to people. that's pretty much it. I don't care if people think it's cool or not. As long as i can dial a # and talk to people, i'd care less if it was 2 soup cans and a string.
