of course yer prolly talking about the chicks at the white power ralley's you attend and in that case they prolly do think it's take's a genious to become a pilot.

well, according to rob (which you usually side with), pilots are not NORMAL people... so would that make them supernatural, or genius????

hahahaha... you and your "co-pilot" rob would pull the "HEY !! LET ME SHOW YOU MY BANK ACCOUNT BECAUSE IT SHOWS YOU HOW MUCH OF A MAN I AM".. "AND I OWN A DETAIL SHOP AND AN RX-7 SO THAT MAKES ME REALLY COOL" ... (oh boy, i bet i can get laid tonight)

welp, you could make 100k a year detailing **** out of people's cars, and a girl isn't impressed why? because your just cleaning someone else's ****. who cares how much you make, your doing shitwork, bustin your ***.. TO CLEAN **** !! doesn't matter how smart you are, a girl is going to think that ur dumb as bricks because all you do is scrub, vacuum, uhhh buff... blah blah blah

you'd be suprised how many women are impressed by the pilot factor... you could be co-pilot for a regional jet making 20k a year, but thats a lot more impressive than cleaning... ahem... ****...

flying doesn't make you the smartest person, but most are truly more intelligent than the general public. it's not like driving a boat, a car, or wrenching an engine. but geez, i better stop now! !! !! this smart guy right here might say something that's over your head... don't worry, i didn't say hobbs meter !! !! !!

i also think you have a very skewed view of how people percieve someone that takes 40 hours out of their short life to become a private pilot, its not near the accomplishment you feel it is. A boat captain's licenese requires more time then that, hell 14 year old kids have pilots license, of course that is a bad example as they are prolly little deeper in the gene pool then you are, but none the less it's not near the accomplishment you precieve it to be, nor as it even close to impressive as you think it is.

and yea, I guess rob and i have similar views when it comes to addressing village idiots.

and if you honestly believe a chick u are picking up in a bar to get your noodle wet is going to care where you got the 200k in your checking account then you are less intelligent then i had figured you to be.

My guess is you tried the withdrawel slip and she wasn't impressed with the $215 u had in your checking and $8 u had in savings so u gave the old pilot line a try.

Time – A private license requires a minimum of 40 hours of total flight time, with the national average around 65 hours before the final check ride, as well as extra time for study on the ground in preparation for an FAA written test. The length of your training depends in part on how much time you devote to it. Concentrated full-time programs can be completed in as few as two weeks or a month, while a part-time student typically takes between four and six months of flying a few times a week.

so yer a retard and couldn't get it in 40 hours.... not my fault.

Am I supposed to be impressed that you have little assets and a car payment? Am I supposed to be impressed that you drive a honda and not an rx7? Is that some milestone in your life? "Hey baby, I've got a 401k and in 60 months I'll own a honda."

I'm not. Are we going to pull our portfolio's out and see who has the most money? Wut will that prove? You're poorer then me? Boy that would be sweet! Do you really think you impress people with your uber fast honda, car payment, amazing savings and retirement account? Do u think anyone cares?

If flying makes you happy great, but don't try to make it out to be something more then it is, a glorified driver's license. You aren't impressing anyone. I love being on my boat and I worked very hard to get my captain;s license, but I don't feel it makes me any better then anyone else here, i do wut makes me happy and I don't sit around trying to belittle others in order to boost my own self asteem, I don't sit around bragging that all my brand new cars and boat sitting in the driveway are paid off, cause NO ONE CARES.

hmmmm... minimum in 40 hours of FLIGHT TIME.. your forgetting ground, study, test prep and cross country planning.. so technically, (like hobbs is just a brand) i thought you (being soooo smart) would take all that into consideration

i was ready for my checkride in around 35 hours...

don't let it impress you that i have little debt. thats just how i like to manage my life. and driving a honda is in fact a great idea when you have my commute.. especially when cars are one of the worst investments and honda's are great at holding resale value !!!!!!!!

you probably have more money than me. at least for now. but money is not my goal in life. i would rather keep life fun and stress free.

im not trying to impress anyone with my killer abilities.. i mean seriously, don't be hatin' man..

cool for the captain's license. boats are fun. i took some boater safety course and got my license.. all but the the captain part. im sure the difference is huge.. probably like being a private pilot and getting my instrument rating(which i am working on)

Yea, i bet you came real close to getting it with that safety course That's like saying I took a $59 flight from beapilot.com and came real close to getting my pilots license.

Like i said, I am not impressed with your lack of debt, yer not some financial wizard because you only have a car payment... I don't have any car payments. Wut is unimpressive is the fact that you seem to feel getting your pilot's license some how makes you a step above the rest and that you seem to think no matter wut your short comings you are better then the rest.

Yea I lead a pretty stressful life, I'll have to take a page from your book.

Amazing that you've amassed all these assets considering you indicated 25k was a great income in college and you cant be all that far out of college, you must be raking it in to have that kind of funds.

Paid for your house in cash i take it? Why not pay the car off too, supposedly you have a great savings and yet you are willing to make 3% on your savings and pay how much in interest on that car loan?

dude, the whole pilot's thing is just ******' hilarious !! considering you and rob get so pissed !!! i don't understand the need to get all defensive, granted it is fun to push ur guys' buttons

i never said i had a ton of assets. im just comfortable, no worries, and i like it ! i never said your life was stressfull and sucked, i was just saying how i liked mine : ) 25k part time in college is great income. i was at a minimum of 17-18 credit hours each semester with a full load winter and summer.. i busted my *** to make what i could then. i would have been happy with 25k then.

i own the house i live in. two roomates. i don't pay the mortgage. they do. it's free !!!! actually, i don't even pay utilities. thats why i don't consider the house a liability.. but you cooouulllddd catch me on a technicality.

So really the "only" debt you have is the house and the car.

I am not defensive, more like annoyed, you seem to have an inferiority complex and someone needs to take you down a notch.

It's like you've taken your past annoying'ness and rolled it into a whole new level, it's one thing to be an idiot and annoy people, it's another thing to be an annoying idiot.

PS. I don't consider living with two other dude's a success
