I have only had 4 jobs, 6 if you count the 2 I had before I was 17.
7 if you count the Marine Corps
so did you break the 25k mark? I know we were hoping for a busy Christmas season to break the 25k mark.

2 jobs before I was 17
1 was when I was 14 or so, I worked at a smokeshop, I put together the newpapers then when I turned 15 I worked the register.
then I worked at a gas station- pumped gas, changed oil on saturdays, fixed flats, the usuall old time full service gas station type of stuff. When you actually had to ask to check people's oil. They would let me do the tune ups on the Airborne Express trucks as well.
I also worked in a restaurant as a busboy, made alot of cash tax free money doing that for a 17-18 year old.
then the marine corps, which I was only in for 7 months when I had a terrible back injury- was in bed for 2 months.
when I got out I worked in and ran the detail shop at a car wash. In the part time I worked in a movie theatre because it was the only job that gave alot of hours at night and the weekends and all my friends were working there, it was more of a hang out then anything, single movie place with 900+ seats, no more places like that anymore.
I worked there for like a year or 2 then I opened my own detail shop which I had for 4 years, I chose to close it to pursue something else, I was making good money, clearing over $1000 a week after all my expenses and paying my employees- not bad for a 21-22 year old with no real expenses in life, had a few cars, a brand new motorcycle, a couple of quads, had my own place, I have not lived at home since I was 17. Nobody to fall back on except myself.
Problem with the detail shop was there was car washes doing details for less then $100, it was too cut-throat and I didnt want to be cleaning cars the rest of my life.
So now I am where I am, started out as a trainee and now I am BUYING the place.
Sooooooooooo, I hardly call that beat jobs?

I started as a file clerk when I was 15. Made $648 that year.
At 17, I got a job at McDonalds, made just over a grand.
When I was 18, I took a road trip to Portland, OR. Ran short on cash and got a job loading trucks for RPS to make enough money to come home.
Later that year I took a job at Radioshack.com. Worked there until I got into drugs and such. Then I quit that gig and went to become assistant manager at the local UHaul.
Then I quit that job, went to rehab, spent a good few months with that. Just as I was getting out of that, I started a website design business. Worked out well for a few months, then the tech sector fell and it was just too hard for a kid to find consistent work. Kinda gave that up for awhile and I was bumming off my folks when I came across the job I have now.
Started here when I was 19 at $12.50/hr. Just 5 short years later, I'm on top of my game and this job is working out quite well. Now hopefully I can get my degree and have the company pay for most of it! ($2000/semester tuition reimbursement)

its not such a hard job, stand there and try to talk people into buying a phone that does more then they need it to do, then not worry if they can really afford it or not.
I like my cell phone to make phone calls when I want it to. SIMPLE
