Just wondering if anyone here ever plays the multiplayer online version of homeworld?



It's pretty cool, a strategy game but better.



I'm just wondering because I'm sick of all the ******y *** nerds who spend all their time playing, beating my ***!

lol.....what kinda game is it...

 

Well its a 3-D space game. You start on this 3-D map and collect resources to build bigger and better fleet battleships, fighters, carriers, destroyers, frigates etc.. etc.. Then you use these to destroy all your enemies i.e. other players. A game could take anywhere from 30 min to 4 hours, depending on the map, settings etc..



Can be from 2-6 players per game. Either teamplay or free for all. You can hyperspace/warp around the map. Steal other players ships. Cloak. Missles, Big-*** laser destroyers. Freeze the enemies fighters. Lots of weapons and gadgets to use in a variety of ways.



On top of that, you can make your own maps. The game is very customizable.



You beat another player by destroying his mothership and/or carrier.



I think its cool, but takes some time to master all the strategies.

well, its all i can play online cause of my shitty graphics card

 

So update your shitty graphics card, GeForce 4 MX's are really cheap

 

Yeah, I've been thinking about that. I rarely use my comp to play games though, and would rather spend the money on my seven.

I'll probly upgrade my whole system come January though.
