I have some angels too, all kinds of *****... One of my Discus died today, which of course I found out after I got them that you shouldnt get 1-3-5-7-9 extra... You should only get them in pairs. He was the one that the others frucked with so ok he is dead.. BUMMER..

Now the bigger one I have is all in love with the smaller one I have yippie..

My question is the big one has some white cotton stuff he is shitting... I mean not a lot, but just like a little ball of cotton... I have see this stuck in the filter before, but I didnt know where it come from.

I just got 2 opinions on it..

1. Its something that fish does, its stomach peels on the inside, some times when its not happy or not eating a lot. ok.....

2. Its some weird disease.. I cant remember the name (well that helps a lot) LOL

Any ideas...

P.S. If my tank leaks they(the company) wont sell tanks again since it has a warantee/Garantee and I will make them buy me a new house since I put it

upstairs..

Only fish I have is a beta that I haven't fed in a good 5 months. but then again, he eats the plant, so that works out.

I don't like the sound of white cotton-looking stuff. If its cottony when it comes out of the fish, then I'm thinking something is messed up. But if the **** lays around awhile, then sure, it'll grow cottony stuff like mold or fungus or whatever.

Any other signs on the fish itself? How's the respiration? Normal, or is the fish "gasping for air."? What are you feeding them? Is the water crystal clear? Overcrowded?

Check your water pH and ammonia levels. Better yet, take a water sample to your fish store and ask them to check it, and see if their discus expert can offer an opinion.

Water is all good. Did a water change too just a few days before. I have 2 of them, along with 2 bettas, different bowls though hehe, i want to put them together though just for a sec or 2....

Anyway he looks good, good color and all, but maybe its all good... I might take him to the pros later...

He got blood worms so all the fish in the tank are happy today.
