It was "twin pines mall." Then when doc brown is reminiscing about '55, he mentions mr. peabody, who wanted to raise pine trees. When marty goes back, crashes in the barn, then leaves, he runs over a pine tree, leaving one standing. Then the guy shoots the mailbox, which says peabody on it. When he returns to '85, right before he watches doc get shot, he walks by the mall sign which now reads "lone pine mall."
nice catch

it is. And I'm pretty sure a gigawatt is a real figure, yet he says jiggawatts (jigga what?).

It is. 1 gigaWatt = 1x10^9 Watts.

And yes, the doc always pronounces it wrong.

Those used to be my favorite movies until The Matrix came out.

I got the trilogy (BTTF) on DVD last Christmas, but didn't even open the package until last night. Looking forward to noticing more details between the 3. They must've filmed all 3 movies, or at least written them all at the same time. I noticed pictures and stuff that eluded to the third film in the second one, and stuff in the first that came up in the second.

They lowered the car a lot for the movie, didn't they? When I see those cars, including that e-bay auction, they always look funny to me, because they sit so high for the way the car is shaped. But watching it last night, I realized it looked so much cooler, and they have some nice fender shots where you can see something like 0 tire gap.
