I found out last monday that one of our computers at my work got the nimda virus. What a big bitch!! Over 1500 files were infected. Right now a week later our computers are still down. I think I was the one that exposed the computer to it, whoops! So did anyone else get it? Did you get hit as bad as I did? The worst part was not being able to come here, but I'm back!

 

Oh we got it, luckily I run Linux at work as well, but it took me over a week to get it off all of the systems, funny thing was we don't run IIS (Insecure Internet Server), but it still infected the whole company. It was really strange would hit one computer than another the next day and so on. The only reason I know for sure they weren't individual infectsions was the server, which doesn't browse the internet or get used to check e-mail got the virus... very strange. The server had 2655 infected files by the time we got too it, others were around 1500 files per system.
