Nice. An MPV was more what we needed right now, but as long as we're buying Mazda's, right?

I love the RX-8. Handles like on rails, I almost trader my jeep for an 04 that was HEAVILY discounted, but insurance kicked my ***, it literally tripled.

I drove one..and hated it...and the check engine light was already on. Handling was good, but it lacked a lot of power..specialyl for the price. If they do another rx7..that woiuld be something i'd be interested in.

Handles like on rails,
I guess that handling is subjective. coming from your Jeep, it feel like it railed. Coming from an FD however, it handled like a bowling ball. Subjectively.

Durr... you think, maybe if the CEL was on that it was retarding the timing just a tad?

I drove one with less then 1000 miles on it, no CEL, and it was still slow, factor in the $31000 price tag on it- no thanks

It is very subjective. The RX8 has world-class balance and poise. If your idea of handling is how it feels when you encounter road obstacles (grooves, gravel, ruts), then place your blame on the tires.
